Rebeca Sánchez López / Barcelona, 1986

Rebeca Sánchez López is a filmmaker and screenwriter based in Barcelona. Co-founder Producer and CEO of Kepler Mission Films and creator of Liberula Verde Films. She produces and directs projects with strong cultural and artistic tendencies, always looking for the balance between content and visuals.

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication in the Complutense University of Madrid, Master's Degree in Film Directing from ESCAC and qualified in Technical Director in Live Shows for SCENICA. Rebeca has combined her work as editor and director in television for channels such as Canal + and AMC International Networks (2009 - 2013) with the filming of several short films such as La Llave, El tiempo de la luz or La Caja de Lucas, selected and awarded in different national and international festivals (2012 - 2014). She co-founded Directed by Women Spain and directed its coordination during the two first editions (2015 - 2016).

Currently She is directing and producing her first documentary film WE DIE about the magical conception of death around the world filmed in India, Indonesia and México in international coproduction with Perro Negro Cine and supported by Programa Ibermedia and ICEC for development.

She is also working in the development of MI CASA a documentary series for young audiences selected in The RealYoung 2017 supported by EDN and IDFA.
